How Do I Sign Up? どうやって契約する？
The account application
for WorldCurrency Access with Ecash can be found on this server. To get
going now you can submit your application on-line, or email
us and we'll send everything to you. After you submit your application,
an account ID and password will be sent to you, which you will use when
you download the software from the net.

How Does This All Work? どうやって機能する？
There are two essential components to this test of the Ecash system.

- You must open a special WorldCurrency Access(tm) account with Mark
Twain Bank (USA). This is a traditional banking account where you can choose
between 25 different currencies for your deposits. There is no minimum
deposit for these special accounts.

- You will obtain and install the Ecash software by DigiCash. This is
subject to a separate license agreement. In conjunction with your banking
account from Mark Twain Bank, you can now move money to your own hard drive
from the Ecash Mint, for spending when you choose.

- To fund your WorldCurrency Access account you will send money to Mark
Twain Bank by check or wire. When the funds are collected, Mark Twain Bank
will automatically move some of the money to the "Ecash Mint"
if it is in quantities of $100 or less. Larger amounts will be left in
the Access account.

- If you request it by phone, fax, or E-Mail, Mark Twain Bank will withdraw
the stated amount from your WorldCurrency Access(tm) account, and place
the funds in the Ecash Mint. At this point the money is available for your
use with the Ecash software (and is no longer a deposit of the bank - just
like a cash withdrawal)!

- Following the instructions in the Ecash software you will request that
the Ecash Mint "coin" some money and place it on your hard drive.
This can be some, or all of the money in the Ecash Mint.

- Once the money is on your hard drive, you can hold it (until expiration

- When you want to turn the money back in to Mark Twain, first return
the money to the Ecash Mint. Then just call, fax or E-Mail Mark Twain and
we will initiate the process to move the money back to your account. Once
it is there you can leave it deposited, or request that a check or wire
be made payable to the account holder and sent to the address of record.

for more information. Several consultants
have been trained by DigiCash in the issues and opportunities involved,
and have offered their services (payable, of course through Ecash). We
encourage you to make use of their services.

The shops page is building as applications are received and merchants
let us know they have shops. In order to be included in these pages you
must sign up as a merchant (Schedule 5 - Schedule 8). Mark Twain Bank retains

up for. The fee schedule allows individuals to have an advantage at lower
volume, and merchants at the upper end. You can sign up as either type,
but bear in mind that if the shop is successful you should migrate up.
The current price for migration is the difference plus US$5.00.

Currently, US Dollars are accepted as the primary currency. As soon
as we feel comfortable with the way things are going, development will
begin on adding more currencies for your flexibility. In the end we anticipate
allowing a choice between traditional currencies, formal currency blends
like European Currency Unit or Special Drawing Rights, non-traditional
currencies that may develop, and possible precious metals based accounts.

When you open you WorldCurrency Access account you will be asked for
a primary and secondary currency of account. In this initial installation
US dollars will be the primary account. You can select from over 25 currencies
for the secondary account based on your national location, or desire to
hold a particular currency.

In order to withdraw money from your WorldCurrency Access account,

hours a day, 7 days a week. And while we are developing a way to have full
time access to the interface between your WorldCurrency Access(tm) account
and the Ecash Mint, it is not yet available.

discretion, choose to waive all or a portion of these fees for any individual
user, or group of participants without regard to fees previously or currently
paid by others. All fees are subject to change with notice to customers
as provided in "DigiCash Test Plan Addendum to WorldCurrency Access
Account."

Where To Get The Software?

You may be familiar with the Ecash software from the ongoing DigiCash
experiment with CyberBucks. The software for this test is similar but the
two are not compatible. The old experimental software will not work
at Mark Twain, and vice versa.

DigiCash has developed a system that according to reviews is secure
and potentially safe. There is no way to guarantee you that there
is no chance of a successful attack on the system, or your personal copy
of the software.
