　マッキントッシュの裏技　

皆さんにパソコンのマニュアルには載っていない裏技をご紹介します
I will introduce computer tricks not written in the manual.

　　

Netscape3.0のディレクトリボタンをカスタマイズ

　　
　ResEdit（フリーソフト）で開き、「STR#」を開きます。続いて「301　　388　　ﾒBotton Namesmﾓ」　を開き、上から見ていくと10番目位に「新着情報」「おすすめ」「リンク集」「ネット検索」「人々」「ソフトウエア」があるので名前を変更します。次に最初の画面に戻り「4000　　208　　ﾒDirectory URLﾓ」を開き変更した名前のURLを入力し保存すれば終了です。日本で同じ事が出来るソフト（シェアウエア）がありますが、４つ迄はフリーで残り２つを変更するには６００円かかります。

Open ResEdit (free software) , then open 「STR#」. Next, open 「301　388　ﾒBotton Namesmﾓ」. You'll see "New arrivals", "Recommendations", "Links", "Search the net", "Who's who", "Softwares" on the list around the 10th item. Change the names. Go back to the top page and open 「4000　208　ﾒDirectoryURLﾓ」. Enter the names of the URL that you have just changed and save. There are some softwares available in Japan for the same purpose. Four of them are free suftwares, and two of them cost 600 yen.

　optionを押したまま画面左上のリンゴをクリックすると「このMacintoshについて．．」が「Finderについて．．」となり、それを選ぶと変な絵が出てきて、それを option+command で同じようにするとマウスポインタが変化する。

Clicking the apple mark at the top left on the screen while pressing option key changes a sign of 'about this Macintosh...' into 'about this Finder'. When you choose this sign, a strange picture appears. When you do the same while pressing option + command keys,the mouse pointer changes itself,too.

Open monitor in control panel and press option key, and you see Mac in a monitor inside the monitor. Then, when you click option while pressing option key,you can use 'use special gamma'. When you click version right above option button in monitor in control panel, you will see the name list of engineers. Then, pressing option key makes a smile mark on the left side of names stick out his tongue.

　コントロールパネルの「カラー」を開き、サンプルテキストのボックスの部分をクリックすると「by Dean Yu」と表示され、もう一度クリックすると違う表示が出る。作者の名前だそうです。

Open color in control panel and click a box of sample text, and you will see "by Dean Yu", and when you click again, you will see another message. That is the producer name.

　コントロールパネルの「サウンド」を開き、optionキーを押したまま、警告音をクリックすると「ワーオ」と聞こえ、変なダイアログがでる。

　コントロールパネルの「キャッシュスイッチ」を開き、optionキーを押したままバージョンをクリックすると「040」というロゴが走って「Written by Robert Polic」というのが出てくる。

コントロールパネルの「キャッシュスイッチ」を開き、optionキーを押したままバージョンをクリックすると「040」というロゴが走って「Written by Robert Polic」というのが出てくる。

　コントロールパネルの「スクリーン」を開き、optionキーを押したまま、「モニタの輝度」をクリックするとダイアログが出る。

　コントロールパネルの「デスクトップパターン」を開き、optionキーを押すと、「デスクトップパターンを設定」が「ユーティリティパターンを設定」となり、ユーティリティパターンが設定できる。

Open desktop pattern in control panel and press option key. 'setting desktop pattern' will changes to 'setting utility pattern' and you can set utility pattern.

　コントロールパネルの「フォントキャッシュ設定」を開き、optionキーを押したまま「フォントキャッシュファイルの容量」をクリックすると、英文が表示される。

　電源をいれ起動音が鳴ったら「option+command+Q+T」を押したままにすると「Quick Time�」を読み込んだ時に音楽と画像が現われて．．。

Just when you turn on the computer and hear a startup sound, keep pressing option + command + Q + T and you will see a picture and hear music when the computer reads Quick Time.

　まず「SimpleText」を起動し、半角英字で「secret about box」と入力し、文字を選んだら（反転）それをマウスでつかんで、デスクトップに持って行き離すと、ブロック崩しゲームが始まります。

Choose simple text and imput "secret about box" with normal English character. Then, trace this three wolds and reverse them to drag onto the desktop. Place them on the desktop and you can play a game' Pulling Bricks Down'.

まず「SimpleText」を起動し、半角英字で「secret about box」と入力し、文字を選んだら（反転）それをマウスでつかんで、デスクトップに持って行き離すと、ブロック崩しゲームが始まります。
